Valve Actuator Testing

Until recently, real time Actuator Valve Assembly Torque Testing was not available. This includes the verification of Valve Break Open Torque under full DP (Differential Pressure).

During hydrotesting of assemblies, actuator torque limit setting verification and maximum output torque testing in fabrication shops or in facility settings can now be obtained!

Arete has developed leading edge technology, procedures, custom fabricated tools, and equipment capable of accurately testing and recording up to 45,000 ft lbs torque. We have successfully completed commissioning tests on Valves and Actuators up to 20” bore, providing our customers with valuable data identifying quality control issues before placing assemblies into service. Our testing also provides an accurate benchmark baseline of valve characteristics and identifies anomalies in the valve operation for future preventive maintenance testing. This testing proves the valve and actuator combination will function as designed.
